Rag & Bone
January 7, 2010
If you are inspired by how “boys can be girls and girls can be boys” – loosely taken from the hit Killer song, you will love Rag & Bone the menswear inspired clothing for women! If you also want to sport that Harry Potter look – this brand is for you.
Actually Gilt Groupe is having a a huge sale on Rag & Bone today on their website, www.gilt.com
Founded in 2002 in Kentucky, Marcus Wainwright & David Neville, gotta love those southern men – started a mens line in 2004 and transformed into a popular style for women just a year later.
The clothes have a strong british influence but can be worn by all. They provide a perfect fit and a timeless feel with high quality tailoring/construction and fabric. The designers have even worked with the oldest button manufacturers to give their designs an extra touch.
You can lust after these products at any high end boutique or exclusive department stores worldwide, as they have received many awards for their work.
Check them out on gilt or stop by their two flagship stores in NYC: 104 Cristopher Street in NYC’s West Village, as well as a SoHo shop at 119 Mercer Street, I will see you there!
Here are my favorites of their 2009 line:
Charley 5.0
August 11, 2009
Who is Charley? Well whomever he or she is, their fashion has been upgraded to 5.0 status! They take denim to the next level …
Susan DiMeo, Marcy Feldman and Yalenis Cepeda (faces behind the brand) have led the camp to wearing denim anytime, anywhere.
Rihanna has been sporting this denim dress (see below) and many other celebrities are catching on.

The best part about Charley is the stretchy denim, don’t you just want to go out and buy a couple of pieces?! From tie-dye jeans to mini skirts, Charley is no.1 in denimware and on the lustlist.

Clean Freak Method!
July 7, 2009
Last week, I moved into my own place. Almost 30 and I finally have an apartment I can call my own. I am in a big girl’s world. And what better way to make a place spic and span than household cleaning products???
I am sort of a clean freak when it comes to my own things, but hate to clean in general. Hello, I live in New York and have a had a cleaning lady for the past three years. However, I do know how to spot trends and when I discovered Method products last year at a party, I couldn’t put them down and knew one day I would need to use them again and in my very own place.
Method products are environmentally friendly, come in various scents and colors, are in friendly disposable displays and do not stink up the apartment. Here are some of my favorites and P.S. they are super cheap ranging from $4-$7 at the most:
All Surface Cleaner – all purpose!

Daily Shower Spray – you never have to wash your tub again!
Hand Wash – smells amazing and does the job!

You can lust after these products in any major drug store or buy them right here: http://www.methodhome.com/#/browse
These products have a major following, to learn more about “people behind dirty or a cleaner clean”, click here to follow their blog: http://www.methodhome.com/blog/

But, OMG have you seen the new cruise/pre-spring 2009/2010 line? The lookbook and video are amazing, check it out here to view and to purchase: dvf.com.
The resort collection was presented on June 4th, 2009 and Her Name is Rio was inspired by the girls of Ipanema. Perfect for those hot summer days and cool summer nights! If you are looking for color, search no further!
Here are some of my favorite pieces, other than the fabu head pieces to the short dresses, every outfit is stunning, well coordinated and asthetically pleasing, enjoy!

TB Resorts!
February 18, 2009
With New York Fashion Week in full swing and the sun finally shining, this is the perfect time to introduce Tory Burch’s new resort collection! Why wait until Spring/Summer to take that vacation, Tory’s new collection is so perfect for traveling, you wish you were wearing her stuff in the Bahamas right now!
I love the frayed jeans shorts look with a cotton embroidered top. The pink and brown is a winning combination that is suitable/appealing on anyone!

All of her voile tops come in a range of colors – from navy to yellow. They can coordinate nicely with black cropped shorts or long white trousers.

Good Night and Good Luck!
January 6, 2009

Vivienne Tam named after a symbol of good luck is one of my recent discoveries. One night, I walked into one of my favorite lower east side vintage shops, boy do I miss shopping, but with this economy you can’t wish for much! Anyways, I found a Vivienne Tam, which I instantly snatched and have since fallen in love with her floral designs.
Her 2009 Spring Collection is amazing to say at the least, look at some of the looks below. From the red fiery number to the long floral gown and how can we forget the pink creamy piece that oh so reminds us of Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and The City!
With Beijing fabrics at her fingertips, Vivienne is a mastermind when it comes to designing clothes. Her pieces sell at major department stores: Saks, Neiman and Bloomingdales and can also been seen as art in museums. She is simply “China Chic,” where East truly meets West and has even been featured on PEOPLE’s World’s Most Beautiful List. She is even HP’s new spokesperson!
To learn more about this incredible designer, visit: www.viviennetam.com and she will definitely be added on your lust list!

SJP is surely thankful for that Balmain LBD …
November 27, 2008
As many celebrate the holidays and give thanks for 2008, people are also looking forward to 2009 and the best part of it all – is attending the numerous holiday gatherings before the year is officially over! What makes this transition from year to year a little easier, is knowing the stars have to go through the same thing, so much so that we are thankful to them for inspiring our party going looks and ways.
And who better than SJP – Sarah Jessica Parker, to show us the perfect way to use a LBD (little black dress) and to get much needed attention! She stunned fans at the New York City Ballet in a one shouldered fantastic yet chic Balmain dress. SJP was the talk of the town this week: from this dress to her Bitten line’s new home (TBD) and the soon to be SATC release – Sex and The City sequel!
Everyone deserves a little LBD to add to their own wish/lust list this holiday season! Although, you may not be able to afford this exact Balmain dress or have access to a Parisian designer’s collection, www.net-a-porter.com, thankfully has the perfect substitutes on their site.

I am always looking for hot, sequins textured and of course mini dresses to wear out and if I could afford it - I would wear Jenny exclusively. Her clientele includes everyone from Beyonce to Nelly Furtado. She even designs couture bridal ware. Her film credits includes Sex and The City, The Devil Wears Prada and James Bond Casino Royale. This Brit has got it going on – see below for some of my fave looks! You can probably score some of these threads at Bergdorf or look here for more info:
